The Artimus Robotics Summer Internship Program for Engineers continued in 2022 when Artimus hosted two full-time engineering interns for the summer. This program allows interns to work at Artimus Robotics full-time from May to August, gaining practical experience in a fast-growing startup company.
Artimus Robotics continued its partnership with the University of Colorado to provide the students with real-world experience in the robotics field while gaining meaningful and impactful work outputs from the students. The program culminated with the interns presenting the final results and recommending the next steps of their summer work to the entire Artimus team.

Artimus is extremely grateful to Jess Corbitt and Eddie Shi for their hard work and excellent contributions. Artimus would like to thank the University of Colorado for the placement of these outstanding interns.
About Artimus Robotics
Artimus Robotics designs and manufactures soft electric actuators. The technology was inspired by nature (muscles) and spun out of the University of Colorado. HASEL (Hydraulically Amplified Self-healing ELectrostatic) actuator technology operates when electrostatic forces are applied to a flexible polymer pouch and dielectric liquid to drive shape change in a soft structure. These principles can be applied to achieve a contracting motion, expanding motion, or other complex deformations.
